Fassafill Small – Cementitious Tile Grout 0–5 mm

FASSAFILL SMALL by Fassa Bortolo is a water-repellent cement-based grout for joints from 0 to 5 mm between all types of tile (ceramic, porcelain, clinker, terracotta, marble, granite, glass or ceramic mosaic), resistant to mould and algae, available in 28 colours.

Technical data

• Joint width: 0 to 5 mm (use Fassafill Medium or Large for wider joints)
• Classification: CG2WA to EN 13888
• Mixing water: 24–26% clean water, adjusted to the desired consistency
• Pot life: approx. 2 hours; application temperature +5°C to +35°C
• Wet mortar density: approx. 1,950 kg/m³
• Time before grouting floors: 24–36 h (normal adhesive) or 3–4 h (quick-setting)
• Walkable after 24 hours; ready for normal use in 7–14 days
• Temperature resistance: -30°C to 80°C
• Flexural strength ≥ 2.5 N/mm², compressive strength ≥ 15 N/mm² at 28 days
• Packaging: approx. 5 kg bag, sold in boxes of 5
• Storage: up to 24 months in sealed packaging, kept dry

Pools

• For pools and wherever higher strength, impermeability and adhesion are needed, mix with LATEX DR 843 as a complete replacement for the water
• For pools with electrolysed salt water disinfection, Fassa recommends Fassafill Epoxy or Fassafill Rapid

Notes

• Do not use on damp substrates or surfaces with rising damp, or for expansion joints
• Not resistant to aggressive acid environments (use FE 838 or Fassafill Epoxy)
• Test on porous or rough tiles first; actual colour may differ slightly from the colour chart
